For more than a century, Camp Murray has been a partner and member of the surrounding civilian community and employs residents who oversee  Military and Emergency Operations for the state of Washington.  Safe and secure access to the Camp directly impacts the security of citizens throughout Washington. Over the past twenty years, as highway traffic and rail volumes have grown and Camp Murray’s entry gate in Tillicum has become an increasingly unsafe location.  KMB has teamed with AHBL to provide design for the Guard building, entrance roadway with turn-around, vehicular traffic and control, widening of connecting internal roadways, counter vehicle barriers, security support building, vehicle inspection area, security fencing, site lighting, data and telecommunications support, and area surveillance devices.
